Story:

At Guardia's Millennial Fair in Leene Square, our young hero Crono has a chance encounter with a girl named Marle. Joining forces, they embark on an adventure that leads them to the Telepod exhibition by Crono's friend Lucca. When Marle volunteers for a demonstration, an unexpected malfunction sends her into a rift in time. Unfazed, Crono bravely follows by grasping Marle's pendant. He finds himself in a world centuries earlier, where he discovers a quest to save the future of the planet awaits him.
